25th July Plans to land 90,000 men in the 1st 6 days of the invasion of Britain
1st Aug Issues a directive for launching Operation Sea Lion
27th Aug Issues a directive for Naval & Army operations for the invasion of England
27th Aug Says victory is dependent on vicory in the Air
30th Aug At the request of the Services the invasion of England is postponed to 21st September
3rd Sep Issues a directive with the decision to invade England be taken by 11th September
11th Sep Postpones Operation Sea Lion by 3 days to the 24th September
11th Sep The 11th Septmber deadline is passed & the invasion of England is cancelled
